Allegro Microsystems ACS37002LMABTR-050B3 Hall-Effect Current Sensor
This Allegro ACS37002LMABTR-050B3 is a galvanically isolated Hall-effect current sensor. It is factory-preconfigured for a fixed bidirectional measurement range of plus or minus 50 A. The device provides a typical bandwidth of 80 kHz and features 5000 VRMS isolation for the MA version. The primary conductor resistance is 0.85 mOhm typical. It is supplied in a 16-pin SOICW wide body package.
The sensor operates on Hall-effect technology and requires no user calibration. It offers magnetic isolation from the current conductor. The device includes fast overcurrent fault detection with a programmable threshold set via the VREF/VOCF pin. It provides bidirectional current sensing with a VCC/2 reference output for zero amperes.
Typical applications include motor phase current control and inverters, overcurrent protection and system monitoring, industrial inverters, automotive battery management systems, server power supplies, and power distribution units.
