Descripción
ADI ADUM3211WARZ dual-channel digital isolator. This device provides 2.5kVrms isolation and supports data rates up to 25Mbps. It features a low propagation delay and operates with CMOS logic levels. The wide supply range is 2.7V to 5.5V. It is supplied in an SOIC-8 package.
Based on Analog Devices iCoupler technology, this device combines high-speed CMOS with monolithic transformer technology. It eliminates design issues associated with optocouplers, such as uncertain current transfer ratios and nonlinear transfer functions. The interface provides digital performance without external drivers or additional discrete components. Power consumption is one-tenth to one-sixth that of optocouplers at similar data rates.
The ADuM3211 provides two independent isolation channels. It operates from 3.3V or 5V supplies on both sides of the isolation barrier, ensuring compatibility with low-voltage systems and offering built-in voltage translation. This device features a default low output state. The automotive-grade W variant is qualified for operation up to 125°C.
This device incorporates circuit and layout enhancements that improve performance in system-level IEC 61000-4-x testing for ESD, burst, and surge conditions.
