Texas Instruments ISO7741 ISO7741FQDWRQ1 is an automotive-grade quad-channel reinforced digital isolator for high-speed and safety-critical applications. It supports data rates up to 100 Mbps with a low propagation delay of 10.7 ns typical at 5 V.

This device provides reinforced isolation with ratings up to 5700 VRMS for the SOIC-16 DWW package, 5000 VRMS for the SOIC-16 DW package, or 3000 VRMS for the QSOP-16 DBQ package. Its projected lifetime is over 30 years at 1500 VRMS working voltage. It features common-mode transient immunity of ±100 kV/µs typical and ±8 kV IEC 61000-4-2 ESD protection with low electromagnetic emissions.

Key specifications include AEC-Q100 automotive qualification Grade 1 for an operating temperature range of −40 °C to +125 °C. It supports a wide supply voltage range from 2.25 V to 5.5 V and includes built-in level translation. The ISO7741F variant has a default low output state and the ISO7741 provides a default high output. Integrated enable pins allow high-impedance output states for multi-controller applications.

Typical applications are electric and hybrid vehicle systems including battery management systems, on-board chargers, DC/DC converters, traction inverters, and motor control. Other applications include industrial automation, isolated communications, and medical or safety-certified designs.
