Gigabyte GA-M56S-S3 I/O Shield / rear I/O shield for the GA-M56S-S3 motherboard. This metal backplate is designed to fill the ATX rear I/O opening and align the motherboard’s external connectors with the PC case.

The GA-M56S-S3 back panel provides cut-outs for PS/2 keyboard and mouse, parallel port, coaxial and optical S/PDIF, serial COM port, four USB 2.0/1.1 ports, IEEE 1394 (FireWire), RJ-45 Ethernet and six analog audio jacks.

Compatibility

This I/O shield is intended specifically for the Gigabyte GA-M56S-S3 motherboard. The motherboard is an ATX, Socket AM2 design based on the NVIDIA nForce 560/520 platform.

Important: compare the rear connector arrangement of your motherboard before ordering. The GA-M56S-S3 rear I/O specification does not list a DVI connector.
